Thanks Chris
The help system top-left-button works if logging in as Administrator. Re: "Photoshop online help could not be displayed because you are not connected to the Internet"
What got me going spare/off-face after a few hours was that holding CtrlAltShift got Photoshop to go, but then the help button didn't work and I got lost in the Adobe website. Before today's try I could get into Photoshop only by logging in as Administrator. I remember the CtrlAltShift not working for starting Photoshop and one or two or so Adobe programs; then a try today made Photoshop go. I remember the unfulfilled wish for CtrlAltShift to start some programs; and a surprise: today Photoshop started in my name not "Administrator". Prior to today Photoshop only started for Administrator.
For the Administrator, Adobe programs have online help. The help online buttons work, now, in the programs I tried.
Thanks for your comment about fixing the hosts table. Re network problems that's unlikely because of the OK results when logged in as Administrator. I'll try what you suggested.
Best Regards
David
