I'm not sure if I should enable this feature.http://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/background-auto-save-cs6/
From what I understand from this thread:
there is no real good way to provide this option to users, and probably no one needs it anyways, we all should be modifying our workflow properly, and, after all, what's so hard about pressing Ctrl+S periodically? I think it would be better if we all just 'held our breath' and this feature was never implemented, it really wasn't worth Adobe's time. I mean just read the thread. It was pretty obvious that such a feature would be not worth it; I mean all the gurus agreed, it just wasn't worth Adobe's effort. I mean all the experts have worked with PS since 2.5 and don't need autosave, and since it's so hard to implement, why they HECK would Adobe put it in?? PS just crashed on me and I lost a days worth of work, but I can't believe that Adobe would implement a feature that is so useless.
Hmm. Not sure what to make of this new useless feature.
