I have both my video card and Photoshop enabled for 10bit display (Photoshop 30bit display). Is there a way to change it so that the 16bit calculation in Photoshop is not down sampling to 15bit? And also I know that the 10 bit will work in Photoshop because I have a 10bit test ramp psd file that shows no banding occurring while there is still banding in the 16bit ramps that I generated (even though it is being down sampled to 15bit we should still not see mach banding occurring because the human eye can only see up to 700 gradation shades, so with 10bit working properly we should not see any mach banding).
