Is it possible that with this Adobe Photoshop version CC 2015 I see these pixel details that I didn't see with Photoshop CS5? This is nonsense maybe, but I am just trying to find an explanation.

Im using Photoshop CC in windows and just yesterday, when I pull my tabbed documents, it minimizes and does not float. And when I try to restore the minimized document, nothing happens.   I have the Enable Floating Document Window Docking checked so not sure what else is the issue.  It just started yesterday,.

I need to do this today because I would like to add a flower crown layer on my daughter's pic. The flower layer has better resol than my daughter's pic. I used Blur tool on the layer I wanted to reduce the resolution of. A huge Blur tool over the whole image. Worked for me.

You may want to consider using Gaussian Blur (or Field Blur if you want to selectively blur) as a a Smart Filter instead.

Pierre, Paul told me that with the new versions of PS, many of his scripts were getting broken, so that was one of his deciding factors for taking down the site. I'm sure there were others. The PS-scripts site is back up, so much of his old stuff is still on there.

I've seen this problem in many places going back a number of years with seemingly no solution (at least not for me). I sure could use some help.

When I try to start Photoshop CS5 only the Software License Agreement screen pops up. If I accept the terms the SLA screen pops back up in an endless loop. As far as I recall I've made no system changes since PS worked properly. I'm running Windows 10 and had been for a while with no problems.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.

I've used the Adobe cleaner tool.

I've checked my firewall.

I've tried running PS via task manager.

PS has no instances running in task manager.

I am logged in as admin.

I've deleted the .LST files.

I am using windows 10 64 bit. I have made video timeline. I have made everything same as this guide: How To: Make a Time-Lapse in Photoshop (4K) - YouTube

But at the end, I cant save my timeline to video file because there is no option for that in render video menu. I try to choose adobe media encoder from render video menu but I cant because the text is grey and I cant click it.

I wasted several hours to processing my time lapse video and now I cant export it to video..! I have read many other people have same problem.

Unfortunately, this has been addressed multiple times here in the forums. CS5 has reached end of life for support and has no guarantee of running on Windows 10. I'm guessing if you did have it working on Win 10 - you had an auto update run that messed with the licensing key.

CS5 Master Collection compatibility with Windows 10

I used to have a monthly subscription to Photoshop CC. I've never had problems with it.
2 days ago I upgraded my subscription to the full suite. I also UPDATED Photoshop to the latest version and it hasn't worked since.

Every time I start Photoshop I receive this error:

Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5 has stopped working


I've tried the following:
--- Run as Administrator
--- Troubleshoot Compatability
--- Run on a different Administrator account
--- Sign out of Creative Cloud and Sign Back In
--- Uninstall, Re-install to C:\
--- Uninstall, Re-install to E:\ (External Hard drive)

I also can't use Adobe Illustrator. Every time I open it up I have a constant flickering cursor. I've tried to Troubleshoot Compatibility on Illustrator and that SEEMS to work unless I close out the Troubleshoot Dialog box. Then the problem persists. The only other program I've installed in Adobe After Effects, and that one seems to be working ok. I've uninstalled Illustrator and After Effects and have attempted to fix Photoshop before installing more programs.

I'm using Windows 10 64-bit
16 GB RAM
Intel Core i7 Processor (4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz)
67 GB of space remaining on hard drive
630 GB of space remaining on external hard drive

I'm also using a Wacom Tablet. In the various posts I've read online, some ADOBE SUPPORT MEMBERS have suggested uninstalling the tablet or not using it - but that's f*cking ridiculous. The whole point of the tablet is to USE it with the Illustrator and Photoshop software. I've also heard that I should boot up in Safe Mode, but that is also ridiculous because then I don't have access to the other programs I need to use in conjunction with the Adobe Suite.

I tried contacting the Chat Support, but they wanted to install something on my computer to see what was wrong... but that seems ridiculous too. This is clearly a known issue. I've seen forum posts dated in 2012 and NONE of the posts I found online have been resolved! That's insane!

There are millions of people using cs5 without issue why does mine take me to the licensing agreement, I put in the valid serial number and it just loops to the licensing agreement again. I have made no updates to my computer.

You seem to have created two threads on this topic which dilutes down the responses you'll receive. I don't have CS5 but if CS2, CS3 and CS4 all run under Windows 10 I see no reason why CS5 will not. I would try installing in compatability mode.

Right click your setup.exe file for Photoshop CS5 and set the dialog as below. (this is a Windows 7 dialog as I'm not by a Windows 10 machine just now) Essentially it says install as if under Windows 7 with Admin privileges.

Adobe don't support CS5 anymore so there may be issues that cannot be fixed. I do recall that the Desktop application is incompatible with CS5 but there is an update for CS5.5 which appears to work under Windows 10 and also works with CS5. Hope it works for you.

Thanks but the issue is not with Windows 10, The scanner works fine on it's own or other apps like Word and Adobe Acrobat X. It worked fine and show up in WIA Import on Photoshop CC 2015.  The problem just started after upgrading to Photoshop CC 2015.5 where the scanner does not show up as an option in the WIA import box.

I did go out to insure that WIA support was automatic in the Win 10 services settings, and it is.  I appreciate the ideas however.
