No components updated. Windows 10 downloads and installs updates automatically, I can't see any pending updates, automatic maintenance ran yesterday. I'm using a  Nvidia card.

Cool, glad I could help.

Puppet Warp is a tricky thing, but once you get the hang of it, it's very helpful. You can set, in the options bar to have More or Fewer points as a density for the grid. That's extremely helpful for how "fluid" you want the silhouette to be moved.

Once you get your silhouette really close, and you need to just nudge a few parts on a dress. It's worth looking at Liquify to do some finite tweaking. I don't like liquify for heavy edits because it blends pixels together much of the time. But if you get used to it, you can get some finite edits made that look great.

I'm sorry I could not be more help. The only thing I could think to do now would be to uninstall all of your creative cloud apps, and then begin reinstalling them. Which is not a fun thing to do, I'm sorry. But usually just uninstalling Photoshop and reinstalling it, will fix these sorts of glitches. Just make sure when you uninstall you use the Creative Cloud App Manager and not something like a Windows Uninstall feature. They do not do the same thing and the WIndows uninstaller can miss things.

We've all done it.

I'm working on 2 monitors, 2 tabs/windows are open, I'm using shortcut ctrl+space+left click+drag to zoom in/out, and everything was working okay, then the left window/image start zooming differently, when I was applying shortcut it start to select area and zoom only to selected area when I left mouse button, meanwhile the right window gradually zoom while I was dragging mouse (as it always do). I have notice that the only difference between 2 windows/images is that in one of them when I'm selecting "zoom tool" the option "Scrubby Zoom" is grayed out, it's not available to activate (check or uncheck it). In the screenshots below is the normal version when I can activate or deactivate it. After restarting photoshop it fixed but it isn't the first time that I'm getting this problem and I would like to fix it without restarting anything. By the way I was having this problem with older photoshop and with integrated graphics (without k2200).

By the way, do you have access to Adobe InDesign? That would be a much more suitable application for creating a magazine. You still optimise your images in Photoshop but then place them in InDesign, where you add the text.

I see! That makes sense indeed, thank you. One thing's missing though: In the original lines you have a slight texture of lighter pixels inbetween, and that makes the lines much more pleasing to the eye. I've been trying to recreate that with color dynamics but ended up with lines that ranged from rainbows to small grey scale airbrushes; some of them were not too bad, but none of them were close to the original texture.

Next thing I'm going to try is to create an ink texture from the original lines and then just overlay that pattern over the monochrome lines of the brush, maybe that works better.

When I updated my laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Photoshop, Lightroom 4 and PS Elements 11 were removed.   Can anyone confirm that these software packages are indeed compatible with Windows 10 as I haven't tried reinstalling them since the upgrade.

Is/should Camera Raw be a part of the Adobe Suite? I am a secondary educator and am teaching from Photoshop CC Classroom In A Book and the lesson calls for use of Camera Raw. Can someone please assist?

These are only minimum requirements.  Keep in mind you will need much more memory (physical and RAM) to support Windows plus all your other software including Bridge, Camera Raw, Creative Cloud, etc...

It looks as if we are getting a cascade of faulting elements here. Your latest report shows Skin.8bf is the problem. This is part of the Nik Collection of plugins from Google. Try removing it to the desktop you will find it in two places

Now all I'm doing here is trying to locate the area of the program causing the problem. Moving all these plugins is taking away a lot of Photoshop functionality.

It would be interesting to know what happens when Skin.8bf is removed as it is the only non Adobe plugin we have found so far and the Nik collection is known to sometimes cause crashes in Photoshop. I would not expect removing Skin.8bf to solve the problem though as you have already tried launching Photoshop with 'shift' depressed (this disables third party plugins) but it is worth trying. If it were to work then you would put the other plugins back one at a time and check Photoshop opens.

This should remove every trace of Photoshop 2017 far more thoroughly than a normal uninstall and you should try it as this is a process of elimination. There is precious little information online about this problem. The only thing I could find suggested a graphics card problem, but starting in 'safe mode' should counter that usually, but not always, so make sure you get the latest Nvidia driver from their website-don't rely on Windows updates as they are generally out of date.

I actually think you need an Adobe engineer to help you here as they have access to reports we just don't have on this forum. I would suggest posting on the feedback forum which is frequented by Adobe software engineers.
